1. I have always loved pictures. As a kid i preferred to look at the picture to actually reading the book. As a grew up I got more and more into pictures and taking them. I really knew it's what I wanted to do at a high school basketball game. It kind of just hit me. I'm not a huge sports fan, especially basketball so I found myself drawn to our school photographer. She was snapping shots of the game and I had this envious feeling and I just knew...hard to explain. I had a friend of mine ask me once out of the blue in grade like ten "where do you see yourself in ten years?" I responded with out hesitation "canoeing down the amazon snapping pictures for national geographic with not a care in the world." Since then I've been hooked. after two years of being school photographer and endless hours of snappy happiness I'm now here...
2. I'm hoping to learn everything technical, I know nothing! I have the mind for it and that's it, I have no idea how to bleed my thoughts on film or paper, that's where I need your help.
4. My worst photo experience was probably picture day in grade 11! Bad memory. I was a bit of a brace face and my smile looked awful no matter what I did. Our photographer was overly happy and I was overly not! Clashing moods and a mouth full of metal kept me from enjoying that experience. My pictures turned out awful by the way!

First Post
I'm interested in most types of photography. I'm a big fan of anything black and white I feel it often tells a better story. Human subject is my favorite to shoot and look at. I love culture pictures as well. National geographic pretty much pinpoints it all for me. I also like artistic photography and playing around and doctoring photos.
